A new die-rolling puzzle every day
On This Route
It’s a die. It’s a grid. You roll the die around the grid.
The die doesn’t slide. It tumbles. Every move changes which face is up, which face is down, and which faces are hiding on the sides. You’re not moving a piece. You’re moving all six numbers at once.
The job
Every task tile wants one specific face. TOP 5 wants a five staring at the
sky when you land on it. BTM 3 wants a three pressed into the floor where you
can’t see it. Clear all of them, the goal lights up, and then you roll onto it.
The tiles
- Conveyor: slides you one cell over. Faces stay exactly as they were. Free movement, zero rotation, which is either the answer or the problem.
- Spin: turns the die in place. Same top, same bottom, completely different sides.
- Portal: paired. In one, out the other, orientation untouched. Solves distance.
They chain, too. Line them up wrong and you’ll conveyor into a portal into another conveyor and end up three tiles from where you meant to be, wrong side up, wondering what you did to deserve it.
The view
SPACE swings the view a quarter turn around the die. The die stays put and the board rotates underneath it. If you’ve lost track of what’s on the left, go and look.
A new one every day
There’s a fresh puzzle every morning!
Mondays are small. Sundays are not.
Medals
Platinum means you matched the shortest route that exists, that one’s exact. Gold, silver and bronze widen out generously from there. It updates as you play, so you get to watch it slip the moment you decide to take the scenic route.
